30 apartments in the “Arlis” complex were destroyed, including the home of an Albanian model: “Thank you for the messages.”

Among the 30 apartments that were destroyed by the massive fire that engulfed the “Arlis” complex two days ago is also the home of well-known Albanian model Gloria Meshi. The news was confirmed by the model herself, who reacted on her Instagram page, stating that the fire that swept through the complex also burned down her home.

She added that fortunately she and her family are in good health.

“Hello, thank you for every message you have sent me regarding the fire. My family and I are well, thank God. Due to the fire in my building and my home, it will be impossible for me to post in the coming days about my active collaborations, except for what I had already prepared two days ago,” the model wrote in her statement.

Further on, Gloria shared details from the terrifying moment that residents experienced as their homes burned before their eyes.

She added that firefighters did everything possible to rescue people who were trapped inside their apartments, emphasizing that they were working in very poor conditions.

“I have seen news and comments about firefighters and police officers, but no one knows how much they risked their lives and in what difficult working conditions they were. They were all extremely kind and compassionate to everyone in that situation. A huge thank you to all of them. Seven of them were suffocated and taken to the emergency room, at least those I saw. Many of their helmets, which can withstand up to 1200 degrees, were melted. The fire was very strong and there was extremely heavy smoke. Before you comment, say thank you to those who risk their lives for such a low salary,” the model added in her second reaction.

This morning, new details emerged regarding the massive fire that destroyed part of the “Arlis” complex. According to footage secured from surveillance cameras in the area, the incident is suspected to have been caused by several minors.
